Our Orphanage Project |

Since 2006, Little Clown has been running a volunteer project to take face painting and clowning into Czech children’s homes and orphanages. We are hugely grateful for the administrative support of the Provazek Foundation who have made this project possible, as well as financial assistance from the Nadace umění pro zdraví. So far we have visited homes in Kašperské Hory, Aš, Karlovy Vary, Milovice, Veská, Stránčice and Zlín, bringing big smiles to the faces of children who have never before come across face painting and clowning. |

Here’s a message we received from the director of one of the homes we visited: Yesterday’s face painting
was flawless. It was perfect, fantastic, and wonderful. I don’t have words to describe
our thanks. I’m so pleased that Little Clown could come to our home and that together
we could spend such a great afternoon. Thank you for the wonderful cooperation.

Here at Little Clown we count ourselves fortunate to have a great team whose energy and enthusiasm, as well as their willingness to donate their time and talent, make these very special trips possible – big thanks goes to everyone who has been involved, including Klara, Ken, Schelie, Miluska, Troy, David, Mila, Petra, Valerie and Marketa! We have more trips planned. It's been a wonderful experience, and feels very special to be able to share what we do with some of the Czech Republic's less fortunate children. |

With the launch of Little Clown Berlin, we are now looking into whether the project could also be offered to underprivileged children in Germany, and perhaps also further abroad.
