Where do we meet?

We meet at the English International School of Prague every Wednesday afternoon from 3:45 to 5:30 pm.

How did we come up with our name?

Our name came about through a misspelling made by Grace in the first week when we were asked to write down out favourite historical period- we don't think we need to tell you what Grace's was! :)

Can anyone join?

We have a few spaces for new older members (ages 11-14). There is also a beginners writing club that meets on Tuesdays (ages 8-11). Please contact us if you'd like to join.

Are all of us native-English speakers?

No, we're not all native-English speakers, some of us lived in Britain or America for some time. A requirement of membership is fluent (written and spoken) English.

Who leads the club?

We are a very democratic group, but the workshops are planned each week by Clare. Clare is a writer in her professional life and is just now finishing a book of short stories for the British publishers Faber & Faber.
